I'm trying to help a friend not overpay. He says he needs 3 business emails (mail@custom_domain), and therefore is having to pay something like $6/mo 3 times.

Is that legit? This seems dubious. If you register a single Google Workspace account (separately from Wix), you get 300 users, each with email accounts. So why should you have to pay Wix $6/mo for each mailbox, when the single $6/mo for the basic Google Workspace should provide up to 300 users/emails for your domain?

Am I missing something?

Hi, so my uncle’s company website was purchased through wix including their domain. So even their google workspace plan was purchased via Wix. Do you think this is safe? Would you recommend transferring the payment to go directly to google instead of going through wix? Or do i just let it be for now? I am hesitant because wix charges them yearly so if i were to add a bulk load of users, that would cost them so much all at once.
