If your email is hosted outside of Wix, can it connect it to Wix?
How to set up your email address
Is a business email address relevant to your website?
I have configured my domain's DNS records with the proper info from Zoho. On Zoho, it says the records have been confirmed. I am able to send emails from my custom domain via Zoho. However, in the Wix inbox settings, it still shows the generic Wix sender address. I've tried sending a few test messages through that inbox but they were not received by the recipient. Am I missing something? Do I just need to wait (it's only been a few hours)? Any insights would be helpful.
I am thinking of getting a mailbox for Wix by connecting a domain and then purchasing the mailbox, and I am researching it too. The main thing I am wondering is if I have to pay for user licenses with Wix’s mailbox system. I looked on Google and one side said yes and the other side said no. Other sources did not give me an answer at all. Can somebody help me here?
I am having the most terrible time with Wix right now. My email that I used before Christmas to login to my account is now not working to login. It says that the email is not associated with a Wix account. The email they say is associated with the account has not been valid or in use for about 6 years or more and the mailbox doesn’t even exist anymore so there is no way I have been using that to login. I have filled out their forms to reset my account 4 days ago but I am still waiting for anyone to respond to me. I have given them pictures of my driving license and everything they have asked for to identify me. When requesting g a call back to chase up the problem the help centre says they can’t help me and they have no idea how long it will take because it’s a different department. I must just wait they say. In the meantime I am locked out of my account for an error in their system and I can’t make urgent updates to my 2 websites. I just find this unbelievable. Firstly, how terrible their customer service is and secondly how worrying it is that customer data just has been lost somehow. I have been a customer with Wix for over 10 years having multiple websites - this customer support seems beyond dreadful. Especially since it’s an issue on their end but I am suffering the consequences and must just wait for how long I don’t even know.
