Shopify is arguably the best ecommerce platform out there. It has all the necessary features which are needed to start an ecommerce store. It has a very user friendly interface and its highly customizable. Shopify offers a built in SEO and social media options, which is a great help for both seo and social media marketing. Also there are a lot of Apps from third party that its easy to use. On the other hand, Wix has better templates, which makes it easier for you to create the website. But again you cannot tweak everything in the template, which means you cannot create a fully customized website. Wix does not have advanced features which are required for ecommerce stores. Shopify is better for beginners as well as for experienced people.
