What are your thoughts on WMT?
I saw this watch on instagram and thought is was super fun. When it arrived it came on a black nato. I wore it once and put it away. I came across this yellow nato from WSC in a box of old straps, threw it on and haven’t taken the watch off since.

The latest one I saw is truly gorgeous, but I am not comfortable spending 640 dollars on a lower quality chinese watch, which is practically the price of two high end San Martins. Hoping to see some AliExpress brands offer similar looks for half the price.
Does anyone have experience with Tiger concepts or WMT? I was gifted a Tudor Snowflake Sub that was my fathers and I love the watch but the sentimental and actual value of the watch (plus being over 50 years old) makes me not want to wear it too much. I am after getting as much of the wearing experience as I can from something a bit less valuable (which might not be possible). Tiger seems legit and I can spec it how I want but I have read quality leaves a bit to be desired, WMT looks good but I’m not a huge fan of the super aged and the price is much higher. Anyone have experience with either of these brands?
I absolutely adore this vintage sub look with the faux patina but most WMT Watches are out of stock and it's far out of my price range for what it is. I've seen vintage Omega timepieces for similar prices. So does anyone have any alternatives to this?? Watchdives do a 38mm vintage sub which looks amazing but the black and patina version is out of stock.
I've been looking to create my own "blueberry GMT" homage. Does anyone happen to know what cases WMT watches are using for their GMT and submariner homages? They seem to differ slightly from anything I've seen in AliX mainly due to the bezel being able to accommodate the slightly larger insert, which is close to the original.
Hi there, I stumbled over the Montana Black Dial from WMT. Although being on the not-worth-the-money expensive sort of side of their quarz watches, this is an automatic running a Seiko NE88. I own one of their quarz watches and like their general quality and quirkyness of some of their designs. It sells for an impressive 1,345$.“ and was wondering if the price is really absurd or sort of fair as I don‘t really know it well to judge it. The guys at WMT are also realy kind and have great customer support with proper personal contact via email.
The story behind it is that my father used to own a vintage Daytona that he bought quite cheap during a very late night Poker game (possibly a whiskey or two involved) from a collector during the end of the seventies when a manual wind was not en vogue. He wore it for decades not really knowing how the price exploded over the time. Eventually he found out and asked me if I wanted to inherit the watch and I declined and told him to sell and enjoy the life from the money he got from it. He passed away a year ago and in hindsight I of course would now like to wear his watch to remember him by. On the other side I would probably not wear the watch a lot given the actual value and fear of damaging or loosing it. Also he did some really nice travels to unique locations from the money. Now surely I could get a super clone that is similar to his original watch to remember him by every day but I like WMT‘s idea of making a clone without the Rolex and Daytona branding making it more of an honest hommage than a rip off.
I attached a picture of the WMT watch, a shot from the auction catalogue showing my father‘s actual watch and a photograph from around 1987 of me and my father wearing the watch.
So - what do you guys think?
Picked up this fun Daytona look alike. It’s by WMT, Watch Experiment Unit. Model: GP1MKII0020C. I just received this recently and it’s a fun watch. It’s def a talk piece when people look closely at it.
