If you haven’t been here for a while, a few years ago I started a loooong series to find the best women’s hiking pants. Finding cute and functional women’s hiking pants is HARD. Harder than it should be!! So many of them fit funky, they’re restricting, they’re not long enough (I’m 5’9”) or they’re just really not flattering. I was over never having a pair that I felt good in, so I started testing as many as I could get my hands on. My qualifications for good hiking pants are: • multiple inseam lengths! I’m 5’9” and I need long pants! We need lots of sizes for all of our unique bodies. • adjustable waist (need it to not rub under a backpack) • not restricting • durable (I climb in my pants, and need them to not snag on branches) • breathable • stretchy • pockets!! (Both of these have a pocket I can fit my phone in without it restricting me while hiking) • CUTE. I love that I can wear these after a hike and still feel good!! These two pants have far beat out every other pant I have tried and I feel so so good in them. They are high-waist and super stretchy. I super recommend these! They have the cutest colors and I’m LOVING the baggier cargo style pant. They’re so flattering!! 2️⃣ @patagonia Quandary Joggers - I love these pants so much I have them in multiple colors & I wear them casually, not just for hiking! The fit is super flattering & not restrictive at all. I used to try SO MANY pairs and review them, and it was honestly way harder to find good ones that I expected. The whole reason for starting this search was that I couldn’t find a pair of hiking pants that fit me properly (waist and hips), that were flattering, durable, and comfortable, had deep enough pockets, and were LONG enough (probably my biggest issue, I’m 5’9” and they’re never long enough!!). I watched Kelby fit into just about every pair of pants he tried, meanwhile I would order so many pairs and they just didn’t fit right. Now I’ve made quite a few of these videos now focused on my favorite four pants, and they’ve all had different qualities I love. BUT in the past two years, I’ve found myself reaching for these far more than any other pair. These pants have remained durable and without snags or holes from climbing, sliding down snow on my butt, and getting rubbed up against rocks, etc. They are so stretchy but don’t stretch OUT, they’re warm and water resistant for these colder temps, and they make me FEEL GOOD. They’re also Kelby’s favorite pair of pants which is wild that the men’s and women’s are both so good. And they come in short, regular, and long!!
