Hey all, I am on a search for high rise fitted shorts with an inseam somewhere between 5-7 inches. I have tried a few with no luck. I read reviews like crazy. I want to use them to both work out in and do acro, so the fabric needs to do well in sweaty conditions and also not be so stretchy that if someone is lifting me by my hips that the grip slips. I also want cool colors, not just black or navy.

Issues I've had so far: I'm slightly curvy and the seam at the bottom cuts into my thighs. Sizing up means they don't fit at the waist. Fabric shows sweat a LOT. Fabric doesn't breath well and is very hot. Fabric is too stretchy and moves around when doing activities with physical contact.

I want higher quality and am willing to spend the money, but also am open to lower cost options with solid reviews. I've tried Beyond Yoga (too stretchy, too hot), Athleta (seams too tight), old navy (seams way too tight), Outdoor voices warmup short (not high waisted enough- maybe different styles are better?). Reviews for Girlfriend indicate tight seams and sweat showing. Lululemon seems to have good styles but I'm trying so hard NOT to buy from them because they're such a crappy company with so many issues.

Any suggestions??
