I'm a professional woman working in a field that requires me to wear suits on a regular basis. I've bought plenty of suits from department stores (Calvin Klein, Anne Klein, and Tahari usually) but want to step my game up to something that looks a little more tailored and sleek. I've also noticed the quality of these brands is lacking recently. I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on a $500+ suit without knowing if the brand/ quality is worth it. I've had my eye on a Hugo Boss suit but am not sure if it's worth the $500 price tag. I'm conscious of fabric content and don't feel right spending so much money on a poly blend suit (although the Hugo Boss suit is Wool and elastin), and I just don't know where to start looking for a reliably adult, professional suit. I'm comfortable paying more for a suit that I'll be wearing in my rotation if I feel the quality is worth it, and I don't want to look like I'm wearing a "mother of the bride" suit that's often mixed in with the rest of the suit selections at department stores like Macy's. Any suggestions?
