You may have some difficulty finding a mid century style TV console that is not "...anything pressboard with a veneer." Have you considered contracting a local woodworker/craftsperson to build to your specs? You get to choose the material, tone/finish, etc, you prefer. March 8, 2024Low tv stands for 70" and over TVs?
Had a similar problem (tall center - low projection screen bottom clearance). Ended up 'crafting' one myself with a couple of butcher block countertop pieces (local 2nds store) and some black iron pipe pieces & flanges, threw some casters on the bottom - boom. Super easy. Out under $400 iirc. Bomb proof as well. Could do jumping jacks on it. Will assuredly last longer than me. edit - Home Depot selling some 5', 1.5" birch slabs for $109, finished even! (sanded & threw a couple of coats of poly on mine for lulz) More on reddit.com

I built my own in my garage But for people without woodworking experience my default answer to this question is to find a local cabinet shop or independent woodworker and tell them what you want and have them build something for you to exactly meet your needs. More on reddit.com

I’ve had luck finding stuff on Facebook marketplace. You just have to be persistent. This is more of an office credenza, but it’s solid wood, heavy as hell and beautiful. I got it for $150. You may want to find a dresser to repurpose as a tv stand too.
