Those a telescopic runners not really recommend for what you are using them for, they will fully extend past the cabinet and if you got kids that will lean/hang off the drawer they will warp, also that’s a 400mm runner and your kitchen drawers are almost most likely 500mm depth, and Goliath and hettich are low end brands, and and depending on what you have now they may or may not be compatible with you drawer box width. Do you have a pic of what you have now? There may be an add on for what you have for soft close and there is also standard add ons that you use with any drawer systems you have. Lastly if you never played with drawer runners before you’re gonna have a bad time installing them.

We have a neat cabinet made of wood, but it has a drawback: its drawers (the rails? the tracks?) have somewhat warped over time and now won't slide easily anymore. Are there any DIY solutions how I could improve them?

Rub candle wax or soap on the slide.

Spit on it. Just kidding, wax like everyone else is saying. IF they are worn enough and causing the drawer box to rub on the face frame, it looks like there is enough room to shim the top of the rail -- solving both problems. I'd permanently attach a piece of thin plastic to the top part of the rail. If you really want it slippery add a thin plastic to the box rail as well. A plastic-on-plastic surface would glide.

I needed something to mount my QNAP in the rack because it didn’t come with any rack hardware. $60 for the fixed ears or $90 for rails? No thanks.

Installing servers on rails is really a two man job unless you have a data center lift. We use rails at work, but at home I much prefer using rack shelves - makes it so much easier adding or removing servers from the rack on your own.

Got any pictures of how you mounted them to the rack? I've got a Synology RS812+ that I picked up for super cheap but the rails are $150+ CAD. This looks like it would be perfect for my situation also.
