Hello! I would like to learn woodworking. I'm a woman in her late 20's and everything around Seattle looks a little bit expensive for beginning classes. I'm an artist and would be interested in trade. I have a lathe and plenty of tools but I need somebody who is at least intermediate level to show me the ropes on their equipment.
I have some projects I would like to do, but have no access to tools or space, is there any sort of "pay X and come create" type establishment?
Ever see something cool and say to yourself "I could probably make that"? Me too. Where can I go to pick up some basic woodworking / carpentry skills and approaches for specific home projects. Any suggestions for low cost classes or workshops in Seattle?
Thanks ๐
