From what I've seen watching wooting reviews and other magnetic hall effect sensor keyboards is that wooting has the best rapid trigger software. I have never used one tho I have been in your situations with my parents before and most likely you won't sell your dad on the wooting because he won't understand the technology that exists inside mechanical keyboards and most likely already sees gaming as unproductive. I would suggest heading over to r/BudgetKeebs and look to assemble a custom mechanical keyboard. Since you want the rapid trigger I would suggest looking into speed switches because they have a shorter actuation point and lighter weight giving a faster input experience. I also suggest looking into the gmk67 keyboard to build off of because it is very cheap and popular for starter builds. More on reddit.com

If you care about the best of the best then yea it definitely worth it if you want a competitive board your cheapest option is drunkdeer I would say or maybe steelseries Apex pro mini on discount if you want just a good sounding board you can have a lot of prebuilt boards for 90$ that sound amazing

Me 13, need a new keyboard. I am big in the Fortnite and FPS space. After a while of research I found that the Wooting 60HE was the best option. So I asked my 47M Father about buying it, he disagreed with the board being worth its price. He says the board is just gimmicky and you wouldn’t feel any difference. I completely disagree with him, you can see in many video, posts, and side by side comparisons that the Wooting actually performs differently.
My question is whether anyone who owns a Wooting board or has used one can verify if it is worth it?

I think Wooting is totally worth it. But to be quite honest, Wooting won't make you play better unless you already do. It will refine your movement with a subtle finesse, making a small but meaningful improvement, but to expect to go from a noob to pro or something, forget it. To those who are playing at top level, they will most likely see the most benefits and also those where their career revolves around playing FPS games (making money from it) and their entire life is dedicated to it, so they need all the advantage they can get. But overall, unless you are any of this, it isn't mandatory really. It is a nice thing to have no doubt about it though if you can afford it.
