What is work from home paid training?
What should I expect during the paid training period for a work from home position?
What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in a work-from-home role with paid training, and why are they important?
I've looked everywhere. I'm open to jobs paid by production, based on performance, paid hourly, commissions, etc. What I won't do is cold call people all day long to scam them and make $5. I'm not good at predatory sales and it makes me feel horrible about myself, I'd rather continue to starve.
Honestly I'd take anything at this point but everything is either fake or just a shit ton of cold calling and only paid (very poorly) on a sale. Where's the random data entry jobs or entry level stuff that I can be taught? The only things I can find that even seem legit are jobs that require at least one certification of some kind, but I don't have money to get those or the programs to be certified in and if I did it means taking weeks or months to break even. In addition, my computer can't render 3D models so that would be another extreme expense. Customer service jobs (that I'm finding) are all hybrid remote or require in person training
I don't have a car because it blew up, I can't do odd jobs around town anymore, the roads are not safe (or legal) to walk and I'm just outside the range of public transport. I'm in a small neighborhood but advertising here has never been successful. I have a bike but it's set up for climbing over rocks, not riding on the street, plus it needs work to function. Uber in my area would be 3 hours of pay one direction (federal minimum wage state).
All I have is a shitty laptop and an Internet connection. What jobs are out there? Where do I look? Indeed has nothing, we work remotely .com (can I post a link?) Seems to only have jobs that need certs or are programming related and I don't know any of that. I've worked hands on manual labor my whole life, I'm computer literate but don't know squat on the software side beyond what I need to build a PC.
