... I am pretty particular with using sharp knives in the kitchen -- they work better and they are actually safer than dull knives since you don't need to use as much pressure when slicing or chopping.

May 13, 2021 - Finally, I don’t love how much plastic Work Sharp used in the product. I understand that this hits a great price, which should appeal to many consumers. But compared with some of the more expensive competition, this one feels a little cheap. It still works great though, and at $200 less than some models, it’s certainly worth considering. My overall thoughts on this knife sharpener are that it’s a wonderful value.

August 13, 2015 - I wouldn't want to sharpen expensive or high end blades on it but for most pocket knives, kitchen knives, axes (remove the guard), and other tools it works fast and I think is worth the money. If you wanted something nicer than your lansky, but that same style I'd look at a KME set. ... Ok...I have the Ken Onion with the belt attachment. Love it and have used it a lot. They are great for reprofiling. However... There is a learning curve. You can mess up a knife pretty fast.
