Wranglers imo, and don’t shoot me, are better than the modern Levi’s quality wise, material and price point. I wear my wranglers for any sort of construction, lumberjack or any sort of manual labor sort of thing. The 13MWZ cowboy cut is a classic, love how it fits over my boots. Tho I have a pair of 47 MWZ and those are even more comfortable and nice. If you want comfort they got the wrangler retro line which is more pricy but a thinner Jean. The best mix of comfort and durability is probably gonna be anything under that performance line that they have. If you live near a boot barn or cavenders they got lots of wranglers to try on. They will obv fit different from cut to cut but there is generally a cut for everyone. Slim, boot, straight etc I used to wear Levi’s but after mishaps etc with them I ditched them cause I been getting my 13 MWZs for only 15-20 bucks a pair. More on reddit.com

Reason I don't like them (based on trying on one or two pairs VERY scientific @_@), is since I saw a pair of 36 x 36 and was overjoyed. However, they wouldn't fit. I was pretty sure I had not gained any size on my hips, so I put them where they fit... The belt buckle was just below my solar plexus. I have very long legs. So wearing jeans this high for me just isn't appealing (may be biased since I am used to sagging to the verge of plumbing just to get trousers to be long enough... I think wearing higher-than-low-waist looks stupid on me). That all being said, they fit very well, the inseam was definitely long enough, and it fit my curves well. I just am biased against my granddad's belt buckle positioning. Glad you found jeans that fit well though! They definitely work well for you! More on reddit.com
