My biggest complaint with selvedge denim is that even cuts called “western” don’t even come close to the fit of cowboy cuts. The reason these jeans look so good Is the smaller rear pockets that sit higher than the front pockets. Impeccable fit that I’m genuinely surprised no other company is doing. Disclaimer, I prefer to buy American made. All these recommendations are American made. I don't know anything about pants that aren't American made. I like Schaefer Outfitters, but they only have two different cuts. Old man cut and relaxed fit boot cut. I'm fine with relaxed fit, so these are what I wear these days. Kimes ranch are really good, but I only ever notice ladies wearing them. Maybe that's because they put the logo on the back pocket. That's just good advertising. Texas Jeans used to be my favorite but they stopped making them in 38" inseams, which I need. Solid choice for any sizes up to a 36" inseam. Least expensive IS made jeans out there. Great customer service, little old lady from North Carolina will pick up the phone. Couple different cuts available and they're all wearable. Even their slim fit have a slight boot cut. Dearborn Denim also have bootcut available. They have good reviews but I haven't bought them because they don't make them long enough for me personally. They have a bunch of different washes/fabrics.
