June 26, 2025Why on earth would Wrangler change the material of their relaxed fit cargo jeans??
Planned obsolescence. Why make something good that lasts 3 years when you can make junk that needs to be replaced yearly. It's the same with shoes. I have a pair of Adidas from 2004 that are still kicking and newer pairs that have come and gone. Try thrifting if you can. At least you have a chance to find older sturdier garments and even if they don't last as long as they would have if they were purchased new, they will likely outlast the new trash bag clothing and you'll be spending less over time. Wrangler Relaxed Cargo Pants but they wear out and tear too quickly (especially splitting on the inner thigh when he sits down).
What are some mens cargo pants with a similar Wrangler type look (eg comfy and practical. Good pockets) but maybe more durable? A gusset would be great but not required.
If they will last longer than 6 months I will pay a bit more but I can't afford to keep replacing these every few months!

I’ve worn this exact pair of cargo pants to work for the past 3 years but they finally tore, so I had to order a new pair. They came in the mail yesterday and I tried them on, BUT THEY’RE NOT THE SAME MATERIAL THAT IM USED TO AND LOVE!!!!! WHY CHANGE SOMETHING THATS PERFECT?? 🤬🤬🤬 i wish these stupid corporations would understand that if it ain’t broke, DONT FIX IT!!!
