Hey all, I'm going to a theme night at a dance club. (Dance club...already out of my comfort zone lmao).
Anyway. The theme is y2k, and they're encouraging fashion from 2000-2010. I remember this time period well, haha. But that was back when all my clothes came from Fashion Bug. I always wanted to dress goth or emo or scene. But aside from having few options in my size, I was also afraid of being called a poser.
So I figure now's my chance! So I already have some black skinny jeans I plan on ripping (the inner thigh blew out so I don't feel bad ruining them). I have some sneakers also. I'm just not sure what to wear for a top. Or maybe I should rethink my idea altogether. I'd like to be a little sexy/flirty if at all possible too.

Y2K as the kids are wearing it pre-dates skinny jeans for the most part. I would go for bell bottoms or cargo pants if you want to go the pant route. here is a quick pinterest Imo a cute sexy outfit would be a mini skirt , crop top if you're comfy with it ( graphic babydoll tee if you're not), some type of knitted or duster over layer , and a pair of platforms that are more platform than heel. make sure to use lots of butterfly clips in your hair :)
