Yesterday I bought a piano advertised as Yamaha Arius YDP-145, 2022. This was from craigslist. The piano looked great, but when I couldn't connect with smart pianist app because there was no way to connect, I called Yamaha. It turned out that the piano was actually a YDP-140, and lacked the upgrade of the YDP-145. Not only that, but it was manufactured in Oct. 2008! Would anyone have an idea what it's worth would be now? I'm trying to settle this without asking for the guy to be arrested. Thanks for opinions.

Small claims court your best bet. Nobody's getting arrested.

I mean it's kinda on the buyer to know what they're looking at. It's possible it's an honest mistake (even if 98% of the times it's not). If you saw it and paid for it there's really no recourse. If you ordered it online and they delivered something different you'd have a case.
