So unless you have a question about something specific, these are both suitable for an absolute beginner, many enjoy them. Have you checked to see when each was released? Hello everyone. Im complete newbie and thinking about buying my first digital piano. Prices of newer P145 that is a newer version of P45 is pretty much the same price as P125 ( now with P225 the new model, but that is too much money for me). What is better to buy? Im planing to try to learn to play blues, not really interested in classical music. Thanks to everyone that could help me in this struggle :)

Definitely the P125. Better sound, more polyphony, more advanced feature set overall.

Yea I don't know why, but, and I love every generation of the Yamaha P... but this new P143 and P145 generation sounds bad. I think they have bad speakers in them or something. I also find it hard to believe that yamaha would do that... so I'm really at a loss for words. My P-105 sounds amazing, the P-115 and P125 all sound and feel basically the same... but the P143/145 just sound tinny and cheap (action is still great) Haven't done a comparison and tried them with headphones yet...
