I haven't had many deliveries from Yodel before. I've seen jokes about them before, so I'm a bit concerned about a delivery that I was expecting today.

Every courier and Royal Mail depends most on your local delivery person, and a little on your local depot. I have no issues with any courier generally. We always have the same Yodel, Evri and UPS driver and I've never had an issue. Amazon gets us stuff but they nearly always just dump it on our (open) doorstep and run. Wouldn't want to be out as I suspect the parcel would disappear, luckily as there's 4 of us there's nearly always someone here. I sell on eBay and have happily used all the couriers. I have had most issues with Royal Mail but I also send the vast majority of my items using them so they are bound to have the most issues statistically. You'll only honestly get a good idea by asking people who live near you.

I have used Vinted for a while now and by far the worst curiours I’ve dealt with are Yodel. They either lose items or take forever to deliver them. Any one else?
One of the items I have purchase was being delivered by Yodel, and the day after it was supposed to be delivered.. A Royal Mail postie delivered it. He said his brother had picked it up off the road (close by) and gave it him and he knew my address (lots of postage comes my way lol). A day later the item was reported missing by yodel and everyone got a refund. I sorted it out with the sender after.

I hate Yodel and I’ve turned it off as one of my shopping options. I had a situation once where the shipping label they produced literally just did not work in the 3 different parcel shops I tried. Such a waste of time and they also charge £3.09 to deliver to my house, which is ludicrous if I’m buying a dress that is only £2 in the first place!! I know lots of people dislike Evri but my local Evri couriers are really good and I’ve never had a problem both sending and receiving packages with them.

I'm gonna say Evri tips the scale on being the worst courier. They constantly lose items and are just generally shit.
