song in the musical "Hamilton"

How does "You'll be back" make you feel?
I just noticed something about You’ll Be Back
Am I crazy or does "You'll be back" from Hamilton sounds familiar
“You’ll be Back” reminds me of a something but I can’t put my finger on it.
Why is “You’ll Be Back” styled like a pop love song?
What inspired Lin-Manuel Miranda to write this song?
What does the repeated line “I will kill your friends and family to remind you of my love” signify?
I just had to ask you guys. I heard "You'll be back" for the first time like, 2 hours ago. And this song just makes me really, really sad. Like, at some point, heavy, in a way. I watched Jonathan Groff's performance and while the audience were laughing, I can't help but feel sorry for this character.
Even before watching any videos, listening to it... there's just something about the beat? The tune? I can't seem to put my finger on it. Am I just imagining this? Thoughts?
Edit: I forgot to mention I first listened to this song without historical context beforehand. Still sad though but not that much anymore. Thanks for the responses. 😅
When King George III is singing, “Da da da dat da dat da da da da ya da Da da dat dat da ya da!“ he’s actually saying Die! Die! The “da ya” is actually die. The whole scat is just his way of saying, “Die! Die!”
I will kill your friends and family to remind you of my love
Da da da dat da dat da da da da ya da (Die!) Da da dat dat da ya da! (Die!)
What do you think? Is this obvious or am I wrong?
