So I focused and niched on Dungeon Master content and this allows me to create scripts where I say things like D&D or 5e or dungeon master a lot. Multiply that by 100 videos and Google gets better at sending my stuff to the right people. Then there’s the tiny fixes like hashtags and categories that help too. You make good content. You make it 100 times. Those keywords are present in 100 videos and if your other metrics are good, you’ll see growth. But it’s not like adding keywords in your videos is going to make you explode. Tags ultimately come down to categorization/organization. If you're looking at a big gamer's tags, and their tags also apply to the same type of video that you're going for, then use them. Tags should be at the most a 5-10 minute after thought, though.
