If you go to the 'Account' screen there should be a little arrow next to your name, if you click on that you should be able to switch channels. As for making it default you may just want to sign out of both accounts and then sign back into them in order of priority. Hope that helps.
Alright, I just found out how to fix this on a Apple TV 5th Gen:
- Go to "Add an account" on your TV
- On the next screen you'll have by default the option to "Sign up using your YouTube mobile app" . Instead of doing that, select "Try Another Way."
- That will generate a code, that you should enter here: youtube.com/activate (make sure you're logged into the gmail address that contains the multiple accounts).
- On your browser you'll have the option to select which one of the 2 accounts you want to add to your tv (the mobile app defaults to the first account).
- Voilà. You should be good to go.
I have multiple Youtube account associated with my gmail id, to switch certain account I have to click the profile picture on youtube and then > Switch Account, this is how the normal way of doing this. My question is there any trick or something to switch certain youtube account through URL eg.
youtube. com/?authuser=mychannel1
youtube. com/?authuser=mychannel2
youtube. com/?authuser=mychannel3
then you bookmark those URL and open them whenever it required directly, akin to what we do with gmail to quickly switch account through URL.
Can we accomplish this creating bookmarklets?
I have youtube premium on one account with 2 channels. I want to create an extension that with a press of a button changes the channel to the other.
Network tab doesn't show any post requests.
afaik https://www.youtube.com/channel_switcher is used to switch the channels.
How do I go about it
