Me and the wife never watch TV, we (separately) watch lots of YouTube (and we both have our own YouTube channels), so it's not unreasonable for us. We recently had a credit card problem and we had to go without YT Premium for a few days, and I can't believe how bad regular YouTube is, not just the ads but the scam products that were shown on the ads. Yes - I’m actually in the exact same situation. I have YouTube premium and would love to share it out to my family, but I’m not the family manager, so I cannot. The family manager would have to sign up for the service themselves and then you’d be granted YouTube premium via the family assuming you cancel the service on your own account. I don’t think there’s any way around it. More on reddit.com
