Hi, I am trying to remove people from family group after deactivation but I’m unable to do it.
Is there any way to remove people?
Family members are unable to take YouTube premium membership because they are already in a family group.
Family organizer pays for YouTube Premium. 5 members of the family connected. Somehow my account does not have premium features eg ad-free, carplay youtube music, etc. was working for years before but now something changed and YouTube Premium subscription ended 19 Sept 2025. Thoughts?
I have YTTV & have added friends & family to my account, including my daughter who lives 2.5h away.
My daughter has Spotify Premium (family) & added me & her little brother but, with the price hike, she’s been looking into other services.
Now we’re left with 2 questions/concerns about possibly switching to YTM family:
how serious are they about cracking down on the location? If she sets it up & adds me & her little brother, would the 2 of us eventually get kicked off the service?
since I’m the family manager of YTTV, would that conflict with her being family manager of YTM?
I’m happy with Spotify & how easy it is to find my preferred genre & new music in that category (punk). We’ve given Tidal a bit of a test run but it lumps punk in with ‘hard rock’ & that’s not my jam. Then again, I’m not the one paying so I’ve told her it’s ultimately her choice/decision. My 2 questions are her/our main concerns. She wouldn’t be saving any money if we couldn’t all be included..
Hello, my wife is the family manager for our google account and shared calendar. However, I created a YouTube tv account on my Gmail. I can now not invite her to use YouTube tv through her account. Is there any way around this, without leaving her family plan and inviting her to mine, without losing our calendars?
Hello All. I am part of a family group with my brother who is currently the family manager. He no longer wants to pay for the subscription but I am willing to take it over. I have a bunch of stuff saved on my account and wouldn’t want to start all over again. Is there a way to have him give me Family Manager duties and I assume the payments moving forward without disrupting our service?
