Hello! I was paying for the yearly subscription to youtube and when I cancelled it before the end of last year thinking I wont be able to afford it, but when I realized I could, I tried to go back to annual and now its only making me do monthly. Did I miss something?

So early I saw a bunch of articles about how Youtube premium now has an annual plan that you could switch to from individual. So I read the article, went to the support page, followed their instructions that said to cancel your current plan if you are an existing member and then sign up for Annual. So I cancelled my $9.99 plan not realizing that the price had increase to $11.99 (I've been a member since 2016) and went to sign up for annual. However there is no annual option for me to select. There is only the individual plan, family plan, or student plan. I've already tried putting in a ticket with google, but I wanted to know if anyone else has tried. At this point I would just like my $9.99 plan back in place.
Update: I got a response for the ticket I put in and they were able to send me a link which directed me to get my $9.99 YouTube Premium Plan back.
I used a VPN to subscribe to YouTube Premium, but the family plan option disappeared, even though other plans are still available. Even without using a VPN, the family plan option is still missing.
EDIT: I contacted support and they said my email is blocked from getting a student plan. They said that it usually happens if that email address is used for a student plan for 4 years already (in my case, I haven’t used it at all so idk what happened). I asked if they could fix it but they said they’re afraid not as it is automated within the system. Oh well, they said they couldn’t do anything about it so I will just use my secondary account (but all my playlists are in my main😭😭). Will update if anything else happens…
Hi! I’m posting this here since the Student Plan requires you to be in uni or college (so JC works too). My JC was listed there so I was able to get verified with SheerID and I received the confirmation email — but when I try to subscribe, my account only shows options for Individual and Family plans. The Student Plan doesn’t show up at all.
Has anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it? Would really appreciate any help!! Thank you so much!!
Didn't there used to be a $149.99 Family Annual Plan for Music or am I just going crazy? I finally decided on Youtube Music Premium over Amazon Music Unlimited but I can't see paying $180 for YT MP over $150 for AMU. This might be a deal breaker.

Last year i purchased my annual plan from India ( i live in the US). Now when i am trying to renew, i can only see the monthly option. Any idea how to get the annual option? Not sure if i am supposed to login with vpn every month for the monthly plan
