I must ask, so you didn’t get the message from YouTube TV that your payment method failed? Definitely can understand being a little low in cash and even further understand why it would be important to have a pay out button but YouTube TV will send an email, regardless of whether the payment succeeds or whether it fails and they give you adequate time to update your information. Definitely agree but kind of puzzling. How one would not receive notifications might wanna make sure your spam folder is white listing the YouTube TV address so that you’ll receive correspondence More on reddit.com

Discover Card is offering 5% cash back on streaming services (including YouTubeTV) payments this quarter, so naturally I'm updating my payment methods to benefit from this. I had no problem updating any of my other services (Netflix, Peacock, etc.), but for some reason YouTubeTV, even though it shows that I updated my payment method to Discover, still shows the payment method as my previous credit card. Is there some kind of waiting period for it to update, or did I do something wrong?

Just an opinion, but I think it would be better if they have the “Pay Now” option after updating the payment method so that the subscription can be easily restored. It’s frustrating waiting for their system to retry again to charge you.
