Youtube app requiring an update on my iphone 4. The ios on my iphone 4 is 7.1.2 and the youtube app as of jan 22nd 2020 is demanding an update for the app which is impossible as it wont update any further. The app itself is not letting me use it until the update is applied which i cannot do.

I'm pretty sure it automatically updates, however, if you haven't powered off your phone in a while or updated your phone in general, I would try that.

The like and dislike buttons have disappeared, my sighted friend can see the buttons but they are omitted or skipped when cycling through the YouTube video page with voice over on. The last few hours my iPhone 14 pro max has been getting a flashing black screen on YouTube. Tried restarting the app, restarting the phone, and checked for updates and am still having the issue. Idk if it was a new update that broke the app or something since i have it on automatic updates. Has anyone else had the same problem?
