JDownloader is a free, open-source download manager that supports downloading videos and audio from YouTube and other platforms. It can automatically detect and process YouTube URLs copied to the clipboard, adding them to the Link Grabber tab for further action. Once a video link is processed, users can select from various formats and quality options, including different audio qualities and video resolutions. The tool allows downloading only the audio track, with options to convert it to formats like OPUS or MP3. JDownloader also supports batch downloads, enabling users to download entire YouTube playlists at once by pasting the playlist URL. Additional features include downloading multiple files simultaneously, setting download speed limits, and extracting subtitles, images, and descriptions from videos. The software is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and can be installed via the official website. For advanced users, JDownloader can be deployed using Docker on devices like a Raspberry Pi, allowing downloads to run without keeping a personal computer on. Despite its powerful capabilities, the interface may be complex for beginners, and users should respect copyright laws and terms of service when downloading content.
Hello, I'm trying to download YouTube videos, but whenever I try to do so, Jdownloader2 seems to download 4 files for a single video (audio, transcript, actual video and some misc files).
Is there any way I can tinker the plugin or JD settings itself so that only vidoe files get saved?
Having multiple files for a single video makes folder management extremely tedious, so if someone knows what exactly I mean, please help me in the comments!
Thanks
