Okay, first and foremost, I don't want to know where to get them, how to get them, or anything else that might be remotely related to piracy. I am merely seeking to know a bit more about them just to increase my own knowledge. With all the talk about lockpick being shut down, it made me realize that I know very little regarding switch keys.
That being said, I'm haven't trouble finding answers to a couple questions I have regarding switch keys. I have checked the help section for yuzu, but basically I only learned that they are used to decrypt switch games. But I have a couple other questions:

Are the keys a single decryption key that is used to validate any switch game (including games that haven't released yet), in a similar way that windows keys validate your copy of windows regardless of what windows update you're running? Or does your keys file get updated every time new games come out so they work with them?

Do keys change when the switch gets a firmware update, meaning an old keys file won't work for games developed on newer switch firmware?

Are keys files unique to each individual switch console, or is it just a single file that is shared among any switch?

Hi all, does firmware and prod keys have to match the version exactly? I mean if I have 19.0.1 firmware and 19.0.0 for keys, does it work?
