Hé ! J'ai 13 ans et je viens de mettre à niveau mon PC. Cependant, la carte mère affiche une erreur C1 lorsque j'essaie d'installer plus de RAM. Seul le 3e emplacement fonctionne et avec 1 barrette. Parfois, il passe au code 4C et fluctue vers d'autres comme CC et C5 également. Je fais de mon mieux pour le faire fonctionner, mais rien n'y fait. 8 Go de RAM ne suffisent pas et il indique une charge de 90 % la plupart du temps pour ma RAM. Ma RAM est une Corsair Vengeance LED 1 barrette de 16 Go, mais elle n'affiche que 8 Go. J'ai déjà mis à jour le BIOS. S'il vous plaît, aidez-moi.

June 30, 2020 - I am seeing the exact same thing on Z490 Aorus Master. Any memory chip I have works perfectly fine on the B1/B2 slots, and plugging any chip by itself or in combination with another one in the A1/A2 slots causes C1 failure to boot.

August 4, 2019 - But as u mentioned, u saw C1 error (is it listed in the manual? I'm sorry as im outside and can't chk now) and when ram is placed on certain slots it straight up won't boot, that may indicate a cpu/ram/mobo problem in that order.

I have tried the existing memory in different slots with not much luck. If I try each DIMM in SLOT 1. I receive a different LED Code (ends in Code 97 with a boot loop) If i try a each DIMM in a different SLOT I go back to receiving C1 code. The MB and all other parts are only a month old but for some reason Slot 1 and Slot 3 emit a bit of a harsh crunch when inserting DIMMs.

I recently installed an aorus master z690 board, 12700k and some new ram. When I turn the pc on, it will run for a small amount of time and an error would pop up on the motherboard, C 1. It will then turn off and reboot, and stays in that cycle. I wanted to know what I can do to fix this, any help would be appreciated.

I have RMA'd my board thinking it was a board problem since I noticed after a BIOS update I only showed 16gb. I just got it back after a month without a PC and it's still happening so thankfully I have a micro center near me and I will be going there tomorrow to buy some new ram to test. This is the first and last time I will use a gigabyte board no other board I've ever used has killed ram this is absolutely ridiculous.

C1 is a memory connection error. Try booting with one stick of ram, also make sure you are using the A2/B2 memory slots. That would be the 2nd, and the 4th from the left. If it still doesn't work try updating the bios to the newest version with Q-Flash.

October 7, 2019 - That's worse than me having a dab of liquid metal covering a few corner holes on the CPU underside and not noticing it and wondering why the board was boot looping after a repaste, and then beeping repeatedly with post code C1 (reserved). Except it started working again when I saw what happened and removed the LM (somehow there was none on the pins) ... Could be worse. ... Dang. I thought your camera just had poor focus there. That's most likely what's causing it. I've had error CC from a pin not making contact.

I’m trying to upgrade my PC to an i7 8700k I bought a new motherboard, the Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 7 which supports z370 / LGA1151. I also got a new cooler, the Cooler Master V8 GTS, as I heard the 8700k runs very hot. The ram I’m using is Corsair DDR4 2400mhz. My graphics card is a 1080ti founders edition. When powering on, everything lights up and the cooler starts blowing and the led number counter goes through a bunch of letters / numbers before landing on C1 and then restarting. I googled around to try to figure out the error and some people mentioned it could be memory related, so I tried a different pair of sticks, tried reinstalling them, tried just one stick and still no dice. I’m at my wits end here. Any ideas?

It happened to me, I had no posting and when I was told to loosen my cooler, that was the problem. Google it is a very common problem. What happens is overtighting it causes the motherboard to warp or bend just enough for the contacts not to line up and/or touch.

Unplugging and replugging the GPU with two power cords the 3rd time works. Now, the machine is working even with the 3400Mhz 64GB RAM. With both side panels open, CPU temp is between 28-31c.
Based on experience, what do you gentlemen and ladies think? I am concerned that the rebooting loop and gpu-in-and-system-not-working erros may happen again perhaps after the 30 days return period. Should I ask for a replacment? How reliable are Gigabyte Z390 motherboards? It seems that the rebooting loop issue happens in other of their mb as well.
Sometimes the gpu feels seated but isn't. Tolerances are so tight anymore on these new motherboards, and the gpu's are so big and heavy they don't touch one side of the rail fully sometimes. I think you will be ok, and you should be under warranty if anything happens again.
