Thoughts on Zara jackets?
I don’t know why brands currently like to hire heroin addict-gaunt models and then throw oversized clothes onto them. For the price you’d want to think it’s nice leather, but there’s a distinct lack of product info and if I looked at those photos and someone said it was plastic I’d believe them. It’s hard to say without properly seeing it in person. But generally fashion brands need to be approached with caution - you’ll get better leather jackets for that money from a non-fashion brand. I wouldn't really recommend a leather jacket from Zara due to the typical nature of their clothing as far as quality goes. Unfortunately, it's difficult to get a nice leather jacket that's made well and with high quality materials for any kind of low price. Of course, it all depends on your situation whether you're able to take that route. As far as these jackets specifically, neither of them are any kind of offensive, although I'm not a fan of the extra lines/detailing on the first jacket. More on reddit.com

I would say to generally avoid Zara, and only use them as a test a particular style. I've never been in a Zara, felt a thing, looked at the materials tag and price tag, and thought, "yeah, that's fine." Their basics, like the chinos my buddy got, are acceptable, but you can do better for less than the $40 they were charging. A faux suede jacket, like mentioned above, might actually be the right call, as long as the price is low enough, because you're not buying it with the expectation that it looks good a long time from now, you're buying it to see if you want to invest in a real one. Lamb leather and etc., are most commonly used for jackets over cow leather because they are softer. Don't worry they'll be even better than cow leather.
