Zara and other fast fashion houses move so quickly and cycle through hundreds of different items every season that it is unlikely you find that they made it in subsequent seasons. Your only hope might be to trudge through Poshmark/Depop/Ebay and hope someone is selling theirs but 6-7 years on it'll be tough, else in the late summer/early fall you'll see down jackets reappear on store shelves. I don’t know why brands currently like to hire heroin addict-gaunt models and then throw oversized clothes onto them. For the price you’d want to think it’s nice leather, but there’s a distinct lack of product info and if I looked at those photos and someone said it was plastic I’d believe them. It’s hard to say without properly seeing it in person. But generally fashion brands need to be approached with caution - you’ll get better leather jackets for that money from a non-fashion brand. It’s too thin. Zara itself tends to be super small, so women coats will make you look like a sausage unless you were extremely thin. Beeing in a town where the only major clothing supplier is Zara (no H&M, no uniQlo, no Gap), you can tell I am a Zara wh*re myself. From my experiences so far: -The garments aren't worth buying on their original retail prices. I am frugal, but I can judge a piece by it's materials, stiching, form and overall quality. These clothes fit well if you know your sizes, and look good, but at the original prices you can find more quality pieces in other companies. -Don't buy it online, go to the store- You have to feel the clothes since I've noticed that even clothes in the same line (Zara Black, Denim Coture, etc.) come in variable quality materials. I've bought jackets from Zara that had the feel of Massimo Dutti (both owned by the same company, Massimo is their premium line) -Wait for the sales. You guys propably know it better than I do. Here in Greece we aren't used to extreme sales, you'll rarely see 50%, 60% tops. In Zara if you wait until the end of the sales season you can score pieces for 80% or more. Last winter sales I spent something like 100€ (roughly $135) and walked out the store stocked with more than 3 bags of clothes. Notable pieces: I got two overcoats retailed for 180€ and 160€ respectivaly at the prices of 30€ and 25€ (black navy officers overcoat / shearling suede camel cowboy coat). So, shop wise and you can score some steals. -Get to know the people that work at your local Zara. That way you can get an early headsup on the upcoming sales. -Bought something at 50%, now you're back after a week and the same piece is at 70%? No problem! You can return it even if you had the labels removed, provided you have your original receipt, and a)get your money back in cash b) exchange it for the same piece +moneyback. win/win.
