I've been noticing a lack of pants in my wardrobe lately and have been feeling really uninspired in that department. I'd love to hear about your favorite pants, not like jeans, but other pants! What do they look like? Why do you love them?
Pants are maybe my biggest fashion item, I go bananas for them and am eternally hunting for more. 5 years ago I only had 2 pairs of black skinny jeans and bemoaned ever finding pants that would fit easily. I have come pretty far since then and have a pretty good pant collection (and one pair of jeans). In general I dig a high rise, I love pleating, and tapered legs are still easiest for my brain to style although I am getting a lot more interested in longer inseams and maybe even something slightly flared? Mid/low-rise is also starting to click for me.
These are some pants I bought on Poshmark that came in today that I am very excited about. They are very big and I love the strange double waist feature, and the color is also exactly what I've been looking for - kind of a perfect greige that pairs perfectly with any color. They are a little nicer than most of my other pants too, and I'm definitely interested to explore more pants like these.
My other MVP's are as follows: Olive green tapered pants that always get the job done, elastic waisted slouchy leather pants that I'm excited to wear more next winter, lovely slinky brown pants with a slight flare that are convincing me to revisit the flared pant concept, and these massive super long black pants that fit perfectly except for this very long inseam that prompted me to experiment with tying them up and I love them now because they're crazy.
these pants from Zara. They’re high waisted and structured, and cinch your waist in the most flattering way. I own them in emerald green and oyster white. They come out with more pastel colors during the spring/summer and jewel tones during the winter. I absolutely adore them; so flattering.
