Hi, when I try to print labels on my Zebra GK420d, it dosent print on the first 90mm of the first label, but then suddely starts printing and going across two labels. It only prints like 15mm on the end of the first one, and then the rest of the print goes om the second one. It does stop feeding labels at the end of label two. I've checked like four times and the mm x mm is correct on both ZebraDesigner3 and on the printersettings. It looks great, size is correct but it just wont start at the beginning of the label. I use 47x104mm.
It works fine when I change the settings and place a 102x192mm label in the zebra. I run the setup on W11. Would love some insight and places to look for faulty settings lol. I’m out of ideas
I work for a small company and we use a Zebra ZDesigner GK420D for our shipping labels. When printing labels, the right-most-side either has just a few spots of ink or is completely blank.
This means that part of the barcode is not printed and it is not scannable by the courier. We temporarily have to print all labels on normal paper and secure them with tape.
We suspect that the printing head may be failing, but the replacement part is very expensive. Do you know what may be causing this issue a part from a failing printing head?
I have already been through multiple resets and calibration protocols, but nothing seems to be working.
Hope you can help - thanks in advance!
