I looked up Zinus mattress here and a lot of posts from 5-6 years ago. Wanting your thoughts on this brand. Looking at the green tea memory foam and the hybrid one. I bought a full spring mattress off of Amazon 2 years ago and it is shot, sink hole in the middle. I'm 5' 10" 200 lbs. Wondering about the longevity of the Zinus brand. I have a limited budget so need to stay in the Zinus price range. Thanks.

Bought the green tea memory foam mattress last night. Will update when it arrives if there are any issues, but hoping it works out.
Edit 2: Three months later the mattress has worked out great. I sleep well on it, no pressure points. And it appears to be holding up well.

I had a Zinus green tea for a bunch of years, and it eventually started leaking fiberglass (the cover was still intact, it leaked through), so I'd be careful of that. Aside from the fiberglass issue, it was a super comfortable mattress.

Edit: it’s been two years and either we’ve gotten used to the firmness or it’s gotten a bit softer. From what I’ve read, the 10 inch version is a little softer than the 12. In the past Zinus used fiberglass for flame resistance but that is no longer the case with this mattress. If you’re interested in this mattress just know that you will be sacrificing some things to be at this price point BUT for a budget mattress it has meet my expectations and I have no complaints.

I got an ad for Zinus mattresses today on Instagram. Checked out the page, and they're pretty affordable. I'm not a fan of memory foam but they have a few that aren't. A lot of them say they are cooling too, which is a big thing for me. They don't have any in physical stores to try, so I'm digging into their return policy to see what that is like. Has anyone tried them? I've never heard of the company before so I can't even tell if it's worth looking into.

I assume you didn't end up buying one of these because you posted months ago, but if you're still deliberating- don't do it! Literally the worst mattress I've ever slept on. The "cooling" is a bold faced lie. I would wake up in the middle of the night /dripping/ with sweat in an apartment with the thermostat set to 64 degrees. It also exacerbated my chronic pain from a joint condition so badly that I couldn't be upright for more than about 3 hours before I'd start having muscle spasms. I ended up replacing it with a mattress from ikea for about $100 more and am so much happier. Just save yourself the trouble and start with ikea if you're looking for a cheap mattress.
