Get This Look: Multicolor 12 Volt Christmas Lights, Golf Cart Lights
October 17, 2025 - We installed them on our UTV along with some garland and went for a ride around the neighborhood with our grandchildren. We all had a great time, despite the near zero temperatures. 4 sets of lights was good, but I may order more for next year. Bruce from Wisconsin · This project uses 4 sets of 12-volt multi lights on green wire.

r/golfcarts on Reddit: How to power Christmas lights
September 9, 2025 -

I have a club car with a cloud energy lithium battery in it. Kids want to decorate our golf cart for Halloween. I’ve been reading I need a power inverter to power the lights. I don’t have a cigarette lighter port in my cart. What power inverter do you guys recommend?

Golf cart Christmas lights | The RV Forum Community
December 18, 2023 - I have a 12 volt LED assembly I use as a night light ..it's eating 9 volts. But in truth it depends on the lights. They make a lot of 3-Volt strings (2 AA batteries generally)( and 4.5 (3 AAAs) and they last.. all month.. turned on 24x7 So they should work on your cart.

r/golfcarts on Reddit: Festive String Lights
June 26, 2023 -

Hello all,

Looking to install some string lights that I can control to match the holiday season i.e. red and green for Xmas, orange and purple Halloween, red white blue 4th of July.

I’d prefer to install one set and leave them installed so I’m assuming LED would be the only option.

Anybody have a set up like this? I have a 48v club car with a 12v reducer powered by LiFePO4 batteries but don’t have a cigarette lighter or any other power connections on the cart currently and would prefer to not require that but open to it if needed.

Thanks

How To Hook Up LED Christmas Lights To 48V Cart System?
Since you don't have 12-volt batteries, you can operate them with 16 volts for two batteries, which should function but may reduce the lifespan of the string, or use 8 volts, which will result in dimmer lights.

September 30, 2008 - You can buy an inverter with battery cable ends that will power lights. I have a small generator I use but I'm thinking about the smaller inverter for Halloween. After posting I was thinking, you didn't mention if it was your cart or a fort cart.

December 18, 2023 - Click to expand... Don, you are 100% correct. I was able to get to the backside of the USB port and found that it is powered by 12 volt DC. The only issue I see is that the wires are very small. I’m fearful of overloading these wires with strings of LED lights.
