Password generated history | 1Password Community
December 11, 2023 - Why is there no password generated history in the iOS app? Seems like a no brainer feature, can’t tell you how many times I’ve had users generate a pw on their phone and forget to save it. 1Password Version: Not Provided Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: Not Provided Browser: Not Provided
Generated passwords / passphrases: only list and store copied / "used" one's in the generator history - Password Manager - Bitwarden Community Forums
Hi, In 1Password, only generated passwords that you’ve actually copied are stored in the history. Bitwarden simply saves every generated password there, even if you’ve only opened it once. This really annoys me. I would be happy if BW only stored the generated passwords that you’ve actually ... More on community.bitwarden.com
Generator history should omit/hide generated passwords that were never used (copied, saved, etc.) - Password Manager - Bitwarden Community Forums
The password history is getting excessive. Every time I open the password generator a new item history is saved. The only time you need the generated password to be saved is if you copy it or select it. It would also be nice if the URL of the current tab was stored with the generated passwords. Password History not storing history ?
The password history you’re looking at is the history of that entry. What I believe you need is in the browser extension, where the password was generated but then never saved to an entry: So open the browser extension, click the menu icon next to the New Item button, select “Password Generator” and there should be an option for the Password Generator History. In that history you should find the password you used for the bank, and then be able to save it into your 1Password entry for the bank login. More on reddit.com
Generated password nowhere to be found?
This does not address your question but a recent 1Password user lost $25,000 in crypto due to something that sounds very like this. In a very nice move, one of the 1Password cofounders gave them $25K . Very generous of them! But for all that, you should be aware there’s some kind of user flow leading to data loss in 1Password currently. More on reddit.com

r/1Password on Reddit: struggling to find generated password history
October 23, 2020 -
I think, somehow, that when i tried logging into a certain website, where i had already registered an account and saved the login to 1password, my already existing login didnt appear, but the generate password function did. So i think maybe ive generated a new password without saving it. Atleast my saved password doesnt seem to be working.
So i found this: https://support.1password.com/recover-unsaved-password/#step-1-find-the-password and it says there is a generator history, but i cant seem to find/understand how to find it.

changed password not stored | 1Password Community
Hi. I changed a password on an internal company site with Safari. 1Password filled in the old password and provided a newly generated password. It didn't opened the dialogue for changing the entry in 1Password though and the new password isn't saved. Is it possible to get a list of the last generated passwords?
