How would you rate your experience with microsoft bookings? Any major issues?
Context: We’ve built a product in the scheduling space and noticed that a lot of our users are Microsoft 365 users. I am surprised by why wouldn't they use microsoft bookings and use an external tool like ours. I did ask a few of them, but got all kinds of different answers. So I'm trying to deep-dive and figure out where the gap is in microsoft bookings.
UPDATE: In the last few months we realised that lunacal.ai was getting way more users switch from calendly than microsoft bookings - maybe the initial traction from bookings users was misleading.
Hey guys,
I recently published a new video and blog post I wanted to share showing two tools in Microsoft that allow you to streamline meeting scheduling for 1 to many participants. These tools are likely part of the business or enterprise licensing you subscribe to. They save me many hours each week scheduling meetings.

TLDR:
Bookings with Me-Like Calendly. Allows you to create a personal booking page and event types with availability from your calendar.
Scheduling Polls-Allows multiple participants inside and outside your org to vote on proposed meeting times and auto schedules when consensus is reached.
What do you guys use to help automate meeting scheduling?

Calendly alternative for Microsoft Outlook: which one should you pick?
How do you migrate from Microsoft Bookings to Lunacal, Calendly, Doodle, or Setmore?
What features should you expect from a Microsoft Bookings alternative?
Hello all,
Curious as to any good alternatives you guys in the field use for customer appointment scheduling that interacts with exchange calendars.
- We currently use Calendly, have had some issues with their services and their support hasn't been the greatest. (Management is not happy about it)
-Microsoft Bookings isn't viable at the moment, we have 365, but we are hybrid and still on prem exchange for now (Project scheduled for next Quarter). From my research, it appears it is only a viable option when you are Exchange Online.
Thanks, and Happy Friday!
We have a lot of back and forth with people submitting tickets and then someone from IT trying to schedule a time to go help them with the problem they're asking about. It seems like it would be easier to let the users pick a time from a series of open appointments.
Anyone doing this?
Hi all, first post here. What are people's opinions about Calendly? I'm helping a consultant find an ideal appointment scheduling tool, so people can easily book an appointment with her via an email link. It's lookling like Calendly is a solid option for a solo consultant who doesn't need a lot of special features.
Opinions? Any other tools I ought to look into?
Main needs: -make appts via a link -connect to outlook calendar
Thanks in advance!
we currently are using Microsoft bookings. It would be nice if we could get a booking service that would allow us to more intricately give our customers the ability to book specific staff members. Ie, only show staff members that have a specific skill and are at a certain level for that skill.
another thing we don't like about mix of bookings is that you have to add in all the staff at the back end. It's tedious and Manuel. It would be nice if there was a way to have it sync with an Outlook calendar and automatically schedule the specific task based upon whatever time we have set in the calendar.
Any ideas?
Hi all,
Any thoughts on using microsoft bookings to book complicated internal meetings?
Context:
My boss's calendar is 80% booked on a weekly basis, as is the other executive calendars. He has many meetings with internal colleagues and these meetings normally required multiple calendars to pivot in order for the meetings to be scheduled.
He asked me to look into Microsoft Bookings or Calendly to help take my time off of calendaring. After watching videos on calendar software, it doesn't appear to have the functionality needed to navigate multiple calendars and move things around.
Anyone else look into this? Thoughts?
Hi all!
Does anyone use Microsoft Bookings for help with scheduling external meetings for your exec? Mine has a very full calendar, and I'm not sure if it would actually save time.
Please share your thoughts!
Hello all,
My Tenant is in GCCH and therefore, Microsoft Bookings is not rolled out yet.
Many SaaS, I tried did not support the GCCH Office 365 environment.
Does anyone have any recommendations (maybe even open source) alternatives to Bookings?
We've got many projects coming up that require interaction with clients 1 by 1 (AD to Azure AD Migrations), and need some type of calendar management app, so clients can pick a time.
