Wait, the anarchists go off on Rt56? I recently played it with the Roadto 56 focus tree and I don't remember them appearing.

Anyway my first suggestion is to play with the Standard focus tree, so you can time the anarchist rise as well as possible.

My suggestion is to try to cut off the nationalists around Burgos either before the war (using PP for garrison influence) or during the war with planned offensive. It'll give you starting territory and importantly will cut the nationalists in half. Attacking around Extremadure too can be good if the nationalists have too much in the south, but basically, focus mainly in Valencia, Aragon and Cataluna.

From then on, you're going to have to be careful and patient; the CW is a slog as someone who has played it a lot. The Unplanned Offensive modifier will be a good wayto grind but also a good way to waste guns; you will have more than enough xp by the end anyways. So play it smart and patient, and just move to cut the enemy off only when you are well positioned to do so. Also, use proper units, not the crap ythat is spawned. I recommend changing the icons of all the crap divisions so you know immediately which are the good divs.
