I remember baving problems with MOP, things like Jokke calling and then not appearing at the bus station. Also, when I brought him sugar wine the bottles appeared at my house, still full, so I could sell him a lot of the stuff with no work. What exactly caused these issues and did you fix them? Good mod overall, I had low fps problems and it fixed them. More on reddit.com

So I wanted to bring this up because I didn't find anything useful when searching for it. I've been using Modern Optimization Plugin since the beginning because it was recommended by my friend that also recommended the game. For one or two playthroughs I was having issues with Jouko and Grandma. They didn't seem to be calling me as they should. Also the Fleetari call chance was at 100% (I checked on MSCEditor) and it never called. Then I found out that was because of MOP. It seemingly limits these interactions, so I then uninstalled it and got used to the lower FPS.
But then I started noticing more stuff: the MSC world seems more alive without MOP

Jani and Petteri spawn more consistently

Satsuma doesn't flip on its own on Parc Fermé

Jouko and Grandma call consistently

Fleetari did call for the vandalism job

Jouko stopped "simply not being there" when I went to the city to sell him Kilju
If you're having those issues try disabling the mod.
I do miss the smooth FPS experience of MOP, so if anyone has tips about settings that solve this issues I'd appreciate.

August 22, 2020 - MOP doesn't touch the draw distance at all, unless you enable "dynamic draw distance" which is mostly visual thing. MSC is not GPU heavy, but it is extremely CPU heavy.
