Oh, and if you try to revive the dinosaurs, do it en masse, all species, as big as possible, before you announce it to the world in a small building with no TV coverage and let them escape. Bottom line: this film wasn't just bad, it was offensive and completely stupid. Treat Williams and Ronny Cox rarely play in masterpieces of cinema, but this was just too much. With all that said it should come as no surprise that I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It actually is one of my favorites from The Asylum, which is saying something given the sheer number of movies from them I have seen. This thing has almost everything I enjoy in a bad movie; copious amount of low budget CGI, hilarious kills, questionable character decisions, exploding helicopters, and WTF moments-a-plenty.

A genetic-research company develops various dinosaurs from DNA, but (big surprise) they all escape during a theater showing in Los Angeles. Treat Williams and Jillian Rose Reed star as a fireman and daughter trying to survive the debacle. Ronny Cox is in the Richard Attenborough role. “Age of Dinosaurs” (2013) is an Asylum flick that rips-off the escape sequence of King Kong and elements of the Jurassic Park movies, especially the first two.

January 30, 2017 - It must be said that the standard of acting in Age of Dinosaurs is pretty darn good for a film of this type, i.e. a low budget dinosaur movie made for TV. Williams in particular gives an exceptionally strong performance. It's always nice to see actors giving their all in what could be considered a 'lesser' project - a sign of true professionalism.
