Ally Financial

I financed a car through ally auto, I have heard a ton of bad stories about them. But I wanted to give my input. I always made my payments on time and for about a couple years I made and extra 25-50$ extra payment when I could each month usually it was 25$. This actually helped me when I started facing financial burdens. Although it did not help the interest, I was able to not have to pay for about 9 months because I overpaid and they carried the balance over. Now fast forward to today, I never had any issues with customer service, I have no missed payments. I actually forgot to pay twice and it was because I turned auto pay off but I was maybe less than 10 days over due. It was never reflected on my credit report as missing or late either. Probably because of the grace period. But I paid off my car in full last month. I saw people say it’s hard to get the lien off. Within about 21 days or less I received my title in the mail. With the lien taken off. I will definitely use them again, but I also had a 4500$ down payment, the interest was 9% which sucked but I could afford it. I never had any issues with them, and I received my title quickly the moment the car was paid off. I will probably use them again if they can offer a better rate but for now, my car is paid off and I kept up with the maintenance. I was extremely happy with being a customer through ally. I know there are horror stories, but this is not a bad review by any means for ally auto.
