I just applied this morning and got a 30 day review notice. I called the automated status check and got two weeks. Could the reason for this review be that I used a new phone number and email address when I applied? I used to bank with Chase several years ago and my old number and email were on that account. Should I just go ahead and call retention and try to straighten this up? The only reason I applied is for the $250 bonus and if I have to wait 2 weeks it will be gone.

Chase may require identity verification from you. Call the recon line tomorrow (to give the system time to register your app) and press 0 to speak to a human. FWIW, even if it's 2 weeks, you'll be approved for the offer that was present at the time of your application, so no need to be concerned there.

I’ve had to do snail mail address confirmation for all 4 of my chase card applications. Super weird but common I suspect.

I have a checking account with Chase Bank. I also have an Amazon Visa credit card. The Amazon card is with JP Morgan Chase Bank.
The problem is I can't pay my monthly Amazon credit card payment online at all. When you try to link your checking account with your Amazon card on the Chase website/app, it doesn't even include Chase in the list. It has every bank except Chase (?) that doesn't make any sense to me at all 😕

Are you trying to link it as an external account? My Amazon card shows up in my Chase account and I don't remember ever having to add it. If it's not showing up for you, call Customer Support.

I’ve Amazon Visa CC and Chase Freedom Visa CC, as well as Chase checking acct. I can access all under one login at Chase website or app and schedule payments to the Amazon CC, I don”t recall ever asking Chase customer support to add my Amazon Visa, so I’m not sure why yours is not showing up under one login. Maybe something has changed within past y years. Best to contact Chase support and escalate to the matter, perhaps they should involve submitting a tech ticket.

I've been researching this credit card before applying because I'm very particular in choosing my cards. I like a card that allows you to check your balance via an app on your phone.
Is this feature allowed on the Chase Bank app even tho it's an Amazon Card ? Might be a silly question but I have to know in order to come to a conclusion.

Signed up for Amazon prime credit card very recently and Every time the Amazon site redirects me when I click things like make payment or check statement the chase site is telling me
“it looks like you used a different account or your Amazon account is hidden”
“Please make sure your chase username and password matches your Amazon rewards Visa card or unhide your Amazon account under profile and settings”
What does that mean? I’ve called chase customer service and they’ve hung up on me 3 times so I’m wondering is anyone else having this problem

Just to be totally sure: it's definitely the Amazon card with Chase and not Synchrony? Wrt the "hiding" thing: in their app if you click the person icon at the top, then "settings" on the right below the blue area, the "account settings," you can show/hide accounts.

It won’t appear if your name is not exactly the same as your other cards. Had it happen to me because one application didn’t require middle name and I had to call in to fix. Just give them a call.
