So I just, like a few days ago, subscribed to Amazon to watch their series. Now, when I try to log on, it asks me to reset my password (Mind you, I received no emails since creation of any attempts at resetting my password, or the likes, so I doubt my account details were leaked. Neither have any of my other streaming services seemingly been compromised). When I then go through the process of resetting, it just eventually resets and says it has detected unusual activity on my account, and I need to contact Customer Support. Whatever, fine, I'll do that. But I just CAN'T FIND ANY WAY TO CONTACT THEM! Whenever I choose a topic in the help section, it fucking asks me to log in! No matter what subject I choose, it eventually just asks me to login, and when I do that, it sends me a one-time reset code, which I type in, just to be booted back to square one "Contact customer support".
How the hell do I talk with customer support? Email or livechat - something! I can't find it anywhere. Honestly really pissed at their lack of customer support availability so far..
I'm not from the US and my account has been locked because of unusual activity. I'm trying to reset the password but it says since it's locked, you need to contact an account specialist. I checked the phone numbers that they have on their site but for International Calls it says there is charging and doesn't say how much, so if possible I'd like to avoid that and just send an email with whatever is necessary to get my account back.
So is there an actual email out there which has actual people replying back?
Also does it matter if the account was first created on .com or .co.uk? Cause I don't remember which but most likely UK.
