In my experience, the Prime sub won't let you REsubscribe or autorenew. You have to wait until the sub has actually run out before you can resub, by just going where you are now. Answer from yarrielle on reddit.com

r/Twitch on Reddit: Prime Subscription Option Gone
March 2, 2024 -

Hey,

Just as it says in the title really - the option to use my Prime sub has vanished. I've logged out, in, clear cookies, cache, tried from three different devices (PC, tablet, and phone), un-linked and re-linked my Prime Gaming / Twitch accounts and it's just not there.

Any idea what's happening? Have they scrapped it?

I apologize for the similar post to others but I haven't found an actual answer.

I have tried using the app, the mobile site, and a desktop site. I logged out and back in again. Tried the "elevate your subscription" on each of those as well as trying to go through the actual payment.

When I'm logged out, there's a little button that says I could get a free monthly sub. Then I go to login again and the button goes away.

I tried using the tutorials posted on here previously but they don't work either. I'm lost at this point.

r/Twitch on Reddit: Twitch Prime Sub option gone.
December 1, 2022 -

I know other people have reported this over the years, but I have been a very long time Prime user and twitch viewer for many years, and my Prime sub has worked fine in the past. But for the last few months when I go to try and use my Twitch Prime sub on someone, the option is not there. No matter how much I look. I have even checked to make sure I don't have anyone subbed to with Twitch Prime and I don't, in fact, since this is a problem that's been persisting for a few months, I haven't used it IN months. I left it alone cus I thought maybe it was a bug and would get fixed, but nope.

I know for a fact I have an active Twitch Prime because I can still easily claim all the Twitch Prime gaming rewards when they come out, and my settings page says I have a valid Twitch Prime membership and can use it to sub. But I can't.

Does anyone know how to fix this or why this is happening? Am I just blind and it IS there they just maybe moved it? Thanks in advance!

My free Twitch Prime sub isn’t showing up, and the last time I used it was March 13th. Why is it not working? - Quora
Answer: The twitch prime system works on a rotating schedule of roughly 30 days. So it should be available however I would make sure there is noone else linked to the amazon account since they can also use it and there is only one per amazon account. Other than that I might try and contact twitch...

r/Twitch on Reddit: What happened to Twitch Prime?
September 17, 2024 -

I recently re-activated my Prime Gaming, and can verify that I have the ability to claim rewards with it, and even get the notice that I have a free sub with Prime gaming to spend.

Yet, when I go to anyone's subscription tab on any browser that I've tried (phone, desktop), the option to use it is not there. Instead I have successfully subbed to two users normally, without ever getting the prompt to activate or the blue crown that would be present to enable prime gaming.

What happened to it? Why do I have the ability to change my name color via prime gaming, as well as redeem rewards from the prime gaming website, and get a notice I have a Free prime gaming to spend but no where to spend it at? I've attempted to do this on chrome and firefox, and even went to the expired sub tab and have no prompt for it. Is it disabled?

I cannot scroll any further, these are all my options Proof 1 of me having Prime Gaming Proof 2 of me having Prime Gaming Proof 3 I have prime gaming

r/Twitch on Reddit: Prime sub not showing on live stream?
July 28, 2024 -

Hi! First of all sorry if I misspell something or if the grammar isn’t correct, english isn’t my first language.

So, I’ve been using my prime sub for a specific creator for three months now. The first time i subbed the notification appeared on live, but the following ones haven’t. This happened to me already with other creators, who I’m sure have it abled. My concern isn’t about the fact that my sub isn’t showing, but that it doesn’t even go through and support the creator :( I have already checked and my amazon prime subscription isn’t expired, is this normal? Does my sub go through anyway? Thank you for everyone that’ll respond 🫶

My Twitch Prime sub just recently ended this month and I was getting ready to resub when the Sub option just won’t appear at all, not even in the “Elevate your Subscription” tab. When I log out or unlink it shows telling me to sign up, but the moment I relink it, it simply disappears.

r/Twitch on Reddit: Did Amazon eliminated the free Twitch Prime sub?
December 14, 2021 -

This sucks! Cause I loved giving a free sub to any of my fave Twitch streamers. My Amazon Prime membership ends today and there's no free Twitch sub anymore. Tried everywhere and everything, but no success.

Before Amazon changed to Prime Gaming, you could just go to your fav Twitch streamer channel and there would be a button for subbing/giving the free Twitch Prime sub. Very easy and simple. Now it doesn't have that button anywhere, only for subbing for $3.99, etc. :/

I think things changed in 2021 for Amazon, so that's why they took it off (eliminated the free Twitch Prime sub) I'm guessing. I always looked forward to it 😔

Twitch Prime Sub Not Showing Up (Here's the Solution) - Rocky MTN Ruby
Do not use the Amazon Games mobile app. Click on Your Twitch Accounts. Select “Unlink account” and confirm unlinking. Return to “Your Twitch Accounts” and select “Link a Twitch account”. Enter the Twitch account that you just de-linked. Once you’ve successfully re-linked your Twitch account, Twitch Prime should appear as a subscription and subscription renewal option as normal.

Went to renew my subscription to a streamer today and the option to use my twitch prime sub just isn't there. I've been paying for Amazon Prime for years now so I'm not on the free trial and I've already tried de-linking and relinking the accounts. Has anyone else been having this issue and know how to fix it?

1 month ago - But it connect to another account based on some prime related perk. It may not have caught up yet to the termination. Check your spam email and such for notices, but primarily go into the subscription section in your Amazon account and see when it expired exactly.

r/Twitch on Reddit: My Prime sub is perpetually only available in the future, and I can't figure out why.
December 1, 2023 -

My Prime sub is never available. It keeps telling me that it'll be available on some date in the future, but every time the date passes, it's updated to a new date. Right now, it's telling me, "Prime Subscription will be available on March 14." But I'm sure it'll pick a new date once it actually gets there. I haven't been able to use my Prime sub in several months because of this.

I've already checked that I don't currently have an active sub. My subscriptions page just says, "Free Channel Sub with Prime: Directly support your favorite streamer, and you can subscribe again for free every month. To use your free subscription, go to a channel of your choice and select 'Subscribe Free.'"

My Amazon Prime account is a normal account that I pay full price for. I've had it for many years now.

If anyone has an idea of what's causing this, I'm all ears.
