December 4, 2024 - Apple allows returns within 14 calendar days from the date customers receive their items. Items must be in their original condition with all parts, accessories, and packaging included.

November 8, 2024 - However, during the holiday season, it extends that to nearly 60 days to give you up to two weeks after Christmas Day. There are some exceptions, such as iPhones subsidized through carriers.

Apple has not yet announced an extended return period. I'd be surprised if they didn't, but we are all just fellow uses who know no more than you do. We'll have to wait and see. ... And Apple has announced the same policy now for the US Apple Store, with the usual caveats.
