Curious if it’s a bug or part of my student discount as I keep getting the offer of subscribing to it and nothing gets added to the recently watched .
However , it does track my history and where I stopped.
Kinda weird
Just like with Apple Music, where there is a 50% off discount with the subscription (it's $5.99 monthly instead of the usual $10.99) I wanted to know is there a student subscription for AppleTV+? I'm in Canada, and it costs $8.99 per month (or $89 for the whole year). I originally got 3 free months of AppleTV+ after buying a new iPad last November and the 3-month free trial ends in less than 2 weeks.
I have the other streaming services such as Netflix, Crave, Disney+, and Prime video. I barely use AppleTV+ but I may keep it if there is a student discount like with Apple Music.

I just had to renew my student verification. After I did that a window popped up that the verification was valid for one year and if I fail to verify again the price would change to the standard plan. Additionally the free Apple TV+ subscription would be cancelled.
Sadly I forgot to take a screenshot, but I'm pretty sure it said something like this. I also found some websites that said AppleTV+ is free with the student subscription of Apple Music.
So is it actually free? I paid for Apple TV+ although I had Apple Music as a student for almost a year now. I cancelled it for this month to try it, but I would appreciate if somebody could just tell me now if I need to subscribe again.
Also I don't know if I can actually post this here. I thought this was a hardware and software sub for the actual Apple TV and not the service, but I saw some show discussion, so... Sorry if this doesn't belong here.
I currently have the Apple Music student subscription (at a discounted price of $5.99/mo) and I get the AppleTV Plus streaming service for free as a bundle to go along with it. On the Apple site, it says:
Get an Apple Music student subscription
Students enrolled in degree-granting universities and colleges can join Apple Music at a discounted monthly rate for up to 48 months. And if you have an Apple Music student subscription, you also get Apple TV+ for a limited time.
By the statement "get Apple TV+ for a limited time", Is this also 48 months (for 4 years) just like the Apple Music student subscription? I understand that after the 4 years are up, I automatically switch to the regular Apple Music and pay the $10.99/mo subscription price. I have used 2 out of the 4 years so far up to this point on my discounted Apple music student plan. Will Apple TV+ automatically disappear from my account when the entire 4 years are done and have to pay the regular price either monthly or yearly?
But one other thing, what if I am still a student even after the 4 years are done, can I renew for another 4 years or is that not allowed?
okay, so obviously from the title, i am a college student looking to get money knocked off a new phone bc mine is damn near broken.
my question is: to use said discount, does my carrier have to be one of the big four? i am still on my parents cricket plan and really don’t wanna open my own when i’m about to be going to school.
i just don’t know if i can go in store and maybe select cricket instead?
let me know!!! 💖
(I'm from the United States, so idk if this applies to anywhere else)
So, apple has this thing called an "education store" on their websites where you buy Apple products on a discount if you are a student.
what they don't tell you is that they do not verify if you are a student, they just assume that you are.
for example:
iPad Air on their normal website: 599$
vs
iPad air on their "education store": 549$ (you saved 50 dollars)
Type: "Apple education store" on Google and you'll find it.
