I’ve decide to compare a Apple Watch series 11 46mm to SE 40mm and after comparing I saw the series 11 is laggy and the SE 3 isn’t laggy at because I bought the series 11 3-4 days ago and I am comparing to SE 3 one of my relatives watch and after I saw this I tried unpair and repair it worked for a little bit but still and I have a choice to exchange for 42mm or get the SE 3 40mm or Return the watch or get it fixed because I spend around 1719 aed to dollars is 468.07 bucks so any solution because it’s an urgent.
I tried on this Apple Watch in the store a few days ago and liked the size of it. Does anyone know if it’s an SE 3 or Series 11?

I’m a first time user, trying to stay within budget - se 3 with cellular ( 249 ) vs 11 without cellular ( 349) I’m young, not much in need of all health features , mainly would be using it to for my fitness journey, to stay active and i guess improve my sleeping habits as well.
Cellular is a good option for me i as it allows independent calling , which I guess can come in handy whenever I’m out and my phone dies , which happens more times than id like , or even to bike without my phone in pocket
On the other hand I don’t want to settle for a watch that might not last that long/ miss out on battery/ glass durability
I don’t plan on buying another watch for atleast 4-5 years and want one which would run good.
( Tried the 42 mm 11 and it looks good on my wrist i guess, if se3 - which one to get 40/44 since I’ll be placing the order online )
Thanksss <3
Hello.
In my country, the price of the series 11 GPS and the SE 3 CELLULAR + GPS is the same. I would like some help choosing between them.
I've never had one before, and I don't know how to choose.
I think having an electrocardiogram would be beneficial. At the same time, I feel it would be interesting to leave home without my cell phone, if necessary. How to proceed?
Hello all,
I recently picked up an SE 3 after not having an Apple Watch for a few years, and now I’m wondering if I should have went for the 11 instead, or maybe even the Ultra.
I got the Apple Watch to hopefully spend less time scrolling on my phone while still being able to take calls and receive messages. I have to be at least somewhat reachable at all times for my job, but also want to be more present for my kids.
Other than communication functions, I only plan on using the watch for basic things like music, calculator, time, etc. I don’t use any fitness or health stuff.
The reason why I’m second guessing my choice is battery life. I thought the lesser stated capacity would still be fine for me, but now I just don’t know!
In actuality, is the battery life really THAT difference between the 11 and SE 3?
I know the Ultra would be the best, but that is mighty spendy!
Thanks for the help!
I was debating the SE3 44mm or Series 11 42mm…. Opted for the Series 11! I chose this combo! 😍 But now I am having second thoughts- I chose the new space grey and now second guessing how long the finish will hold up. Thoughts?
Full time mama for context, using it to track my health and keep on top of things 💛
I just upgraded my watch to s S11 JetBlack with a slate Milanaise Band. Couldn’t be happier. That increase in performance is something else.
Was watching the Apple Event in the hope that the new SE model would be a significant upgrade. Almost pulled the trigger on the SE3 because I didn’t wanna spend a lot on a smartwatch. However, got the Series 10 46mm for about $20 extra during the sale season. Glad I waited for it. The watch is so good!
Hello.
I currently have the SE2. I recharge overnight and don't use the sleep tracking feature.
For sleep tracking I place my phone in my bed with a magsafe charger and use Sleep Cycle to wake me up with sound.
Any thoughts about the Series 11 vs the SE3 for sleep tracking overnight? Always on display is not important to me so I plan to turn it off to extend battery. I like that the SE3 comes in 40 mm size vs 42 mm for the Series 11. It seems however that the Series 11 is 1 mm thinner.
The main functional advantage of Apple Watch Series 11 over SE3 seems to be the addition of Blood Oxygen, ECG, and Hypertension (aka high blood pressure) sensors. But Series 11 is almost double price of SE3.
For the price difference, you can buy German brand (i.e., Beurer, Omron) and iOS App enabled dedicated Blood Oxygen, ECG, and Blood Pressure monitors. Unlike Apple watch, this can also be conveniently shared among family members.
Also, you need the watch to fit snug for Blood Oxygen sensor to work, so it doesn't work well if you prefer a loose fit. Both ECG and Blood Oxygen require manual runs and do not run in background.
I can only see S11 better than SE3 if
you are an athlete and need to take measurements at the field, rather than regularly at home, or
you want to save space by owning less things, or
you really care about the premium look (e.g., Series 11 titanium is double price of aluminum.)
So my questions are:
Is Series 11 really worth almost double price of SE3 for having those sensors? Am I missing anything else important?
If you are to buy the dedicated sensors, which brand/model do you recommend?
Why would you choose S11 over SE3?
TIA for discussions. I am trying to decide between S11 and SE3.
I had the SE 1 watch for about 4 to 5 years. I decided to get the SE 3 (wifi only) since I tend to get the cheaper apple products. The always on display is super useful in certain places. I use a shortcut to trigger it at the gym or while I'm out of the house.
The battery is great and lasts me well over 24 hours. The most power I use is when I swim in the morning. I am still at 55% after hitting 24 hours (timed it multiple times to be sure).
I am very satisfied with the SE 3 and have used it since the 19th. I don't care for the sleep scoring AT ALL. It makes no sense so I can't trust it. It says I got great sleep but I feel like crap with low rem/core sleep?
Being able to read the watch underwater or in the sunlight is so nice considering the SE 1 was outdated to me. I don't care for the fitness buddy and frankly, i wouldn't be able to hear it while swimming.
I got the 44MM which is bigger than my 42MM SE 1. I love the bigger screen and it is still comfy to sleep in. Apple always impresses even on the cheaper products.
I've never owned and Ultra or a Series watch so I don't know what I am missing but I am satisfied with the SE 3 so far.
Seriously, why make the watch the same as phones? At least the phones has different sizes, cameras etc to justify that. But for watch why do we need the same product hierarchy from basic all the way to ultra?
Why does Apple do it? Why not just have 1 smart watch (which is already very small) and give us everything there?
