Add or remove a device from your AppleCare One plan - Apple Support
If you still don't see your device in the "Not Eligible for Plan" section, you might need to sign in to your Apple Account on that device or pair it with one of your other Apple devices associated with your account. *If you add a device that has AppleCare+ or AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss coverage, it will be covered by AppleCare One and your previous AppleCare+ plan will be canceled.

r/mac on Reddit: AppleCare One - Only for currently enrolled devices?
July 24, 2025 -
I was hopeful that this new subscription would allow us to add older devices without a current AppleCare+ subscription. Am I wrong? I'm trying to enroll my M2 Pro MacBook Pro, of which its subscription expired due to unwanted circumstances. But it seems it's ineligible.
Has anyone been successful in enrolling a previously expired or previously unenrolled device?
